Karnak Desert

The first thing one will see upon exiting the great city of Valhalla is the vast and cruel desert known as the Karnak. The constantly shifting sands and general lack of landmarks make it a difficult place to navigate without getting lost; or eaten by sand worms.

Dry Nile

The Dry Nile was once a mighty river that flowed directly through the middle of the Badlands. However, now it is dried and cracked, not a single drop of moisture left in it. Savage tribal peoples sometimes camp out in here, making it a dangerous passage to take.

Thebes

It's said that Thebes was once a city nearly as large as Valhalla. However, there is no evidence of this besides for a single partially ruined temple. What happened to this city is unknown; as there are no traces of any of the other buildings, even though the temple walls suggest they once stood tall and proud.

Seti's Sanctuary

Seti's Sanctuary is the only water source in the entire Badlands. It is a large oasis with a few scattered trees and patches of grass. It is said a powerful guardian watches over this spot and punishes any who attempt to defile it.
