This isn't really much of a question or a suggestion, but rather an answer to a future question. With the new update to the skin a lot of undesired changes came along with it. These changes required you to input more information, and overall was just one big time sink. Worst of all, it changed all of the required resolutions for the gif and avatars but this post is here to help relieve that problem and spit out a quick solution.
Those are both of the resolutions you'll have to concern yourself within the miniprofile. They're unlikely to change for a while, so there shouldn't be any fear in that either. You can easily take your avatar and throw that bad boy into Microsoft Paint, Photoshop, Gimp or whatever your favorite graphic program is and stretch it to where it needs to be. I also hear there's websites like picresize and Resize Your Image that can even help you be lazier, but these details won't exactly help you with your gif.
Now it's recommended that you find your favorite gif of the day, or whatever you feel like, from the depths of the internet. Pick something spunky, funny and enlightens the rest of the world about your personality. Shine bright like a diamond, just like good ole Rihanna used to teach us. Now you're more than likely going to find a gif that doesn't fit your designated resolution, but that's okay! There's also gif resizers out there! First we have EZGIF and then there's GIFMaker.Me. Darn, isn't the internet great!?
Finally, for your gif at least, you'll have to upload it to some kind of image hosting website. Even your avatar can be uploaded this way, and is usually your best bet so proboards doesn't jack it all up. I'm sure you're well aware of the several different image hosts out there, but in case you aren't, there's Imgur, Photobucket and TinyPic. Once you've got it uploaded, throw that puppy into the specific slot in your profile and you're ready to roll! No excuses!
