| The Rooftop Garden was always such a sight to behold. The plants and artwork and all made for a great display, as did the lights that helped to magnify such beauty. It was because of the various artwork that a young girl had found her way up to the area. There wasn’t anything to do that day, and it wasn’t really like she had anyone to hang around with. Her family was probably still alive, and she never really had any close friends on her planet. Those that she did consider good friends were people that she doubted would even make it here. Well all that, and the fact that it hadn’t really yet registered that she was dead. “It’s nice up here!” She exclaimed, not really to anyone, as she sat on a stone wall and let her legs dangle over the edge. “A bit quiet though.” Sighing, Calina swung around and stood up. There wasn’t much to do, but she was bored and needed something, anything to entertain herself with.
Grinning, Callie practically skipped among the artwork and plants, taking time to stare at various pieces before moving to the next. She took interest in a specific flowering plant before taking a moment to examine a finely cut bush. It was detailed to represent some type of animal, but not a kind she’d ever seen before. That was okay, though, because it was still really pretty. “Wow. I bet it’d be really cuddly…” She mumbled aloud, reaching out to touch the short branches of the bush, not surprised to find that the bush was not cuddly at all. Whatever animal that was, though, was definitely floofy and cuddly. Had to be.
Callie smiled to herself and bounced a bit before turning to go towards another piece of artwork, but was stopped by someone not so far away. He was an interesting looking guy, and seemed kinda friendly. He also had furry ears! Those looked amazing and soft and adorable, even if the guy appeared to be much older than Callie herself. “Whoa! Hey mister! Wait up!” Giggling in excitement, Calina all but ran up to the stranger and stopped with a little bounce. “Hey there! My name’s Calina! You can call me Callie, though. What’s your name?”

" Always. " Oh it was such a nice day. The sun was out, the sky was the most beautiful color and even the air felt cleaner. It was such a good day that Oliver dubbed it a good idea to explore around a bit inside the hotel. He’d never really left his room much and when he did it was just to go down to the lobby to exit the hotel, so he figured exploring would be a nice waste to the nice day. He managed to explore a couple of floors before he ended up getting lost in the stairwell and ending up on the roof. Which was fairly odd considering he thought he was going down instead of up but oh well. He never was the best when it came to directions. But anyway, he managed to end up on the roof. Which was pretty nice actually. Aside from the wind blowing, not that that really mattered as he was too busy looking at the awe inspiring breath taking scene which lied before him. He’d never seen a garden on a roof before, sure he’d heard of them, but he’d never really seen one. And it was magnificent. “ Oh wow…..This is…amazing.” Stepping out of the door way, hoping that it doesn’t lock from the inside, he starts walking around the area. Stopping every so often to look at some flowers, drawing quick little doodles of the flowers in the sketch pad and smiling before continuing on. He noticed a little chia cat sitting on a fountain and he sits next to it. Smiling brightly at the ceramic cat plant he starts recreating it in his sketchbook. Making note of all the small details and shadows that are in play to give it a perfect recreation. He didn’t hear the person that was coming up behind him, he was just too focused on his drawing of “ CHIA CAT BY FOUNTAIN #5” that when the person behind him does announce their arrival he nearly has a heart attack. Just barely making sure that when he jumps like 50 feet into the air his sketchpad doesn’t land in the fountain that he looks behind him at the newcomer. A light blush speckling his cheeks and his eyes wide he barely registerd what she said, and he stares at her for a second before replying softly. “ H-hello. Uhm, Calina? I’m Oliver. I-it’s nice to meet you….uhm….are you up here all alone?” With a slight twitch of his ears and tail he looks around really quick to see if there will be any more people joining them. When he doesn’t see anybody else he turns back to her with a small smile and a little chuckle at himself for getting so scared by this young girl. “ Heh…” Callie FletcherWordcount: 465 So precious~ HP 10/10 MP 14/14 STR 2 END 4 MAG 2 BAR 3 DEX SPD 4

| Teehee, wow this guy was really funny! Callie hadn’t meant to scare him, but it was kinda cute how he jumped in the air. Calina thought he was a grown man too, though she did suppose that grown-ups could also be scared. Grinning, Callie just stood on her tiptoes and peered over his sketchpad. “Oh! I’m really sorry I scared you, Mister! Hey what’re you drawing? Is that the kitty-plant? It’s cute!” Calina then listened as the man introduced himself and questioned her on whether or not she was alone. “Well hello Mr. Oliver!” Callie stuck out her hand, smiling excitedly as she waited for him to take it. “Oh uh… yeah I am alone. But not completely alone! I mean, I have Flicker. He’s not with me though, but I can summon him whenever I want! Do you want me to? It wouldn’t take too long for him to show up, because magic!”
Speaking of being alone, The Oliver guy also appeared to be alone in this world. Noting this, Callie sat down beside him and put her hands in her lap while looking up at the neko with large eyes. “Hey are you alone too? Where’s your family? I haven’t seen mine in a while… ” Callie just shook her head, those silly people were trying to fool her with some sort of sad joke. The lady that called herself Death was apparently playing a game, which is all it really was. Calina really did want to see her family again though, but she couldn’t. In fact, the people that ran the hotel still wouldn’t let her bring her llama into the hotel! She was lonely. It kinda sucked living alone. “Hey Mr. Oliver? Do you think my family knows where I am? They told me I was going to a better place when I got sick. This place doesn’t really feel like a better place because I don’t have any friends here, and I really miss my family… They told me they’d see me again but it’s been a few days…Did they forget me?” Callie got quiet then and played with the belts on her hips. She was getting all upset now, scared and alone and waiting for a friend.
Sighing, Callie leaned over and rested her head on Oliver’s shoulder. “Huh?” She then glanced up, a little grin crossing her features. “Hey you smell really good! What kind of cologne is that, or is that how you always smell? It’s really nice!” Grinning, she stood up and was practically bouncing again. “Hey! Let’s go look at the artwork! You look like you’re smart so maybe you can tell me what some of the things are, because I don’t really know. My planet didn’t have some of these things.” With that exclamation, Callie reached forward and grabbed Mr. Oliver’s hand, giggling as she tried to pull him up. “Come on Mr. Oliver! Come on come on!”
