SCRATCHLIST GUIDE
Here on Scratchlist, we run an item banking system as well as a selling system. Both run on the same number of slots, however, one may choose which items they wish to be put up for sell and which they would like to keep within their personal threads (one thread per character). Whenever you would like to deposit an item here, simply PM a staff member, and if you purchase an item in the main shops which would override an equipment slot in your app, that item will automatically be moved to your thread and marked as "Stored" (as opposed to "For Sell"). As far as banks go, members will have to pay for how much they wish to store in them.
Remember, each of these prices stack, so you won't get a discount should you upgrade to 10 slots and later decide you want 25.
5 slots - free
10 slots - 50 hacksilver
15 slots - 100 hacksilver
25 slots - 150 hacksilver
50 slots - 200 hacksilver
Unlimited slots - 5000 hacksilver
Any items marked for sale may only be priced at HALF the amount you originally purchased the item for. This includes costs for additional enchantments. Also, all rules for what condition of gear you may purchase at your current rank apply here as well.
One of the unique features of this system is an ability only granted to those purchasing items: Tinkering. Only equipment such as weapons and armors may be used in this process, so potions are thrown out of the range of possibility in the equation.
Tinkering allows a player to take two pieces of another's old gear (purchasing both of course), and combine them into a single equipment. The resulting item will grant the stat boosts of both, as well as any enchantments. This will create an item with the same slot and type of one or the other, and costs an extra 15 hacksilver. When tinkering, it is also important to keep in mind that only equipment of the same condition may be combined, and simple and legendary gear cannot be tinkered. Finally, doing this will "rank up" the final product to the next quality (Standard -> Advanced -> Rare -> Legendary).
(While not entirely necessary, we would feel most comfortable if tinkered items somehow held aspects of appearance from both items in some form or another.)
When buying, it is first come first served as well, meaning if Tommy claims that Pendant of Torture, Sally can't come along and attempt to outbid him. So... yeah, that's it really. Go nuts, guys.
