When people think of the words assassin, ninja, or stealth it is typically associated with silence, speed, cunning, and talent. Quiet murderers who have the power in their skills to bring forth either chaos and create a grandeur image of peace amongst a war-torn country. One would not think that a man, or woman for that matter, would have much of a personality. Emotions are something one should lack to make their abilities on the field meet perfection. Feeling are a weakness, showing expressions causes confusion, where none bring forth a sense of fear knowing that the man about to kill you shows not empathy. An assassin of such caliber could either bring the end of life itself or a path of salvation for others.
Unfortunately, neither of those things are what Revere Alexander von Helios is. He tends to have a rather loud mouth for spewing indescribable insults or screaming his own name before striking his target down, giving them a slight advantage beforehand. He proclaims that his foolish attitude was because he is hellbent on having his name known across the lands. His wish to become the greatest assassin in history caused a lapse in his skills as a ninja and even though whoever he hunted ended up dead, his personality caused much distress within the society as a whole. That all being said, in the end Revere shows interest in one other thing besides his dreams of becoming a so-called legend among the people, and that's cash. People were disgruntled about the fact that whoever paid Revere the highest amount usually won his favor. He would poison an entire water supply headed for a village if it meant getting some of that sweet, sweet gold. It was what drove his career and gave him enthusiasm for being alive. Without currency, there would be no Revere Alexander von Helios.
Now, just because Revere had a smile on his face when he was not killing people, did not mean he was the nicest person to be around. Records dated back to when he was just a child showed that he had a bit of a mean streak. Some said he was made angry with ease, simple teasing sent him over the edge in situations. As a human it was a normal thing to become angry but if anything made Revere a good assassin with was that he had no understanding of the preciousness of life, besides his own that is. At a young age fits of anger caused extreme cases of hospitalization. Or, on occasion, death.
In the end Revere is no more than a man just trying to make a living, who's greed and pride got the better of him. Though he follows not the stereotype of an assassin, it is perhaps his unique style that will make him the legend his wishes to become.

...so you are telling me that you have never heard of the brave Revere Alexander von Helios? Well, there is no better time then now to share the details of the man who potentially saved the our lands from future war and brought an era peace to all the lords of these lands...
It was said that Revere was born in a small fishing village just on the outskirts of Mito, the city that was lost to us during the invasion those many years ago. His birth was during the time of rebirth and the earth regained the beauty it lost during the time of frost. A storm was raging on the coast, creating fierce winds and rain that struck the homes so hard you could not hear a thing going on. As the villagers hurried to secure the boats Revere's mother went into labor. Of course his father, the legendary warrior Yuse, stood strong and provided the best support a man could for a woman having to bear the pain of childbirth. Soon, his lungs took their first breath and even with the storm pounding the heart of the village, they could hear his cries breaking through the rain and gales. A show a promise, let me tell you, of a child destined to have ambitions that would shake the core of this world.
As the man known as Revere grew up, it became apparent that he would constantly seek attention. Not just by his parents but the entire village, all eyes were meant to be on him at all times. He would go to such extents such as sabotaging the villagers boats right before an important fishing trip. Bad or good, as long as people acknowledged his existence he was satisfied. Around the same age of you young children however Revere began to take a turn for the worse, a personality trait that no-one saw coming. It was when another child, who's name was forgotten too history, began teasing the young Revere. Instead of telling an elder, his mind fell to tug of anger and madness, striking the child with a stone and bringing an end to his life. Horrified, the villagers wanted something done for the travesties the boy committed and as much as Yuse talked to the boy it was apparently that Revere had no care for what became of the other child.
The murder created a void between Revere and the rest of the village. No matter how hard he tried, no matter how much effort he put into attempting to get people to pay attention, it failed. It was told that Revere, leading up too the last moments of his life, never quite grasped the idea of how precious a human's life was. It was theorized that he was possessed by some sort of demonic force that fed off the guilt that he was meant to feel. None-the-less it was just the beginning of many problems to come. Unable to feel safe within their own homes they cast Revere out at such a young age that nature would have taken him as another victim. His parents, no matter how much they disagreed, could not win favor with the upset peasants. Yuse and his wife loved Revere, no matter what he had done in his past, because he was still their child. They did what they could to provide him with enough supplies so he could make it too Mito. There, he would have to survive through any means necessary.
At first, Revere resented his parents for betraying like that. He thought that they had loved him, cared for him, and never knew why he was forced from his bed and out into the world. It was never apparent to him that what he had done was wrong, remember? Through thick and thin he would remain innocent in his own eyes. Though his parents told him to travel to Mito, he instead made direction for the sacred forests that resided to the West of Mito, hoping that the gods would seek curing his confusion. It was there that he met the monk Naruka, who took him under his roof and taught him the secret art of Ninjutsu.
What's Ninjutsu? To the non-believers of our order, it is meant to describe the skills of a shinobi or ninja. A man or woman who exceeds in the art of stealth and murder. However, the true form of Ninjutsu is not just to be one with the shadows, but too be one with the world around you. Too harness the power of the elements, that is real Ninjutsu. It was said that Naruka was one of the last of the order of monks who protected the techniques passed down through generation after the mass genocide of true Ninjutsu-wielding people. For years he trained the young Revere until he too became a master of the arts, hoping that one day Revere would pass the techniques on. It was when Naruka passed away that Revere made way to the town of Mito and became the assassin he was renowned for. When the war with the southern clans began and their armies marched North, was it time for Revere's ascension into legends.
The lord of Mito had requested Revere's assistance in killing the warlord, Wanabe who led the armies of the South. Without Wanabe, the forces would crumble and the northern clans could secure a position in the war that could spell victory. However, Revere could not be paid for the job, forcing him to refuse. Over the years of his career the gold had rotted his mind too greed. But when the armies approached his village it was then that he rushed to their aid.
...it was a sad day, as the army had massacred all the people he knew and loved before he had the chance to save them. When he found his parents, they were found holding hands in their final moments together as Yuse attempted to protect his one and true love. The signs of battle scorched the home like litter, bodies spewed across showing just how much of a resistance Yuse put up to guard his home. It was said that this was the first time Revere had cried, showing the deepest emotions towards the loss of his family and friends. But besides just that sorrow came an anger so powerful it rocked the entire nation. At this time the army had moved to the North, towards Mito where they laid siege to one of the northern clans biggest strongholds. With ambition, he flew to the aid of the clans, where he faced odds never seen before in history. An army in the thousands against a single man. A man with the fuel needed to tackle such a challenge, one without forgiveness of human life. That was the day that Revere Alexander von Helios ascended from just a mere mortal to that of something more, either it be demon or god. As the battle raged he ended the lives of hundreds, summoning large infernos that engulfed the battlefield with just a single breath. Gales as strong as the storm the night he was born toppling over their defenses. The earth moving to his will and crushing those who opposed him! Left and right he ripped through like they were paper, to find Wasabe and...
...it seems the fire is just about to go out children, meaning its time for sleep. The story will have to be saved for next time.
